YOTA is Roanoke's
“Year of the Artist”, an initiative aimed at brainstorming new ways to support creatives of all types, meeting community challenges and further integrating arts into the city’s fabric. 
"During the 2022-2023 fiscal year, the City of Roanoke will invest a quarter of a million dollars in community-driven and artist-led projects advancing the community in a variety of key areas.
The projects are funded by an American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant and a Grants for Art Projects Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, with additional funding from the City of Roanoke." |
I am a YOTA Art Matters Grant recipient and a member of the YOTA Artist Coaching Team. I create and facilitate workshops that support the personal and professional development of Roanoke's creative community.
